Every ring Marlon Obando Solano makes begins as a conversation. The designs in this gallery are one-of-a-kind pieces — rings built from specific combinations of wood, metal, gemstone, and intention that don't exist anywhere else. Some started with a heirloom stone passed down through a family. Others were shaped around reclaimed materials, a meaningful wood species, or a design idea a couple sketched on paper and sent to us. This gallery shows a selection of the unique designs that our customers have envisioned, that we’ve brought to life with thorough communication and planning and exquisite craftsmanship. What makes a custom ring different from our catalog designs
Our catalog collections offer a wide range of designs — Lados, Equinox, Siempre, Un Lado Asi, and others — each available in your choice of wood, metal, width, and size. A custom ring can start from that same foundation but goes further: different proportions, combined materials, inlay positions, stones we don't stock, or entirely original design. If you have something specific in mind that you don't see in our shop, that's exactly what the custom process is for.
Unique, sustainable materials
Sustainably sourced hardwoods — including nacascolo, guayacán, walnut, koa, cocobolo, dogwood burl, and reclaimed Kentucky bourbon barrel oak — are the foundation of most custom designs, but we are always happy to work with unique materials. Whether it’s by using a different species of wood, a stone, an heirloom diamond, a deer antler, guitar string or ashes, we will create a custom ring that is meaningful to you. We use 100% recycled solid precious metals: yellow gold, rose gold, white gold, and sterling silver and conflict-free or lab-grown gemstones.

How to start a custom wood ring
Browse the designs in this gallery to get a sense of what's possible — profiles, inlay styles, material combinations, and scale. When you're ready, contact us with your idea. We'll ask about your wood preferences, metal choice, any stones or materials you want to incorporate, and your size and width. From there we provide a quote and production timeline.
